Hey there! I’m Katelyn, the designer and heart behind Kowen Designs. I’m based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where I spend my days creating beautiful things, hanging out with my two dogs, Rosie and Joey, and indulging in my favorite reality TV shows.

Designing has always been a passion of mine, but it’s more than just creativity—it's a way for me to express myself, especially as I navigate life with chronic illnesses like POTS and MCAS. Despite the challenges, I’ve found that art gives me strength and joy, and I’m excited to share that with all of you.

Fun fact: I’m a huge Caitlin Clark fan (go Hawks!), and my mom’s a dedicated teacher, so I’ve been surrounded by creativity and resilience my whole life. Whether I’m designing something new or simply soaking up inspiration, I pour my heart into everything I do.
